PRO-LIFE & RIGHT TO LIFE
I believe every life is a gift from God and must be protected.
As a father of six, grandfather of six, and a committed Christian, I am committed to standing up for the unborn and fighting against the abortion agenda.
I am committed to protecting life, supporting a society that cherishes children and families, and making certain that public funds are not used for abortion.
THE SECOND AMENDMENT
I believe we have a fundamental right to bear arms as enshrined in the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution. This fundamental right is a high priority to me.
VETERANS
As a military veteran, I support and respect the men and women who serve and have served in uniform; assisting veterans is a top priority of mine.
LIMITING GOVERNMENT & TAXES
For too long the establishment politicians haven’t ACTUALLY shrunk the government’s involvement in our lives. As a conservative who adheres to the Constitution, I believe government should only be as large as is needed to effectively administer programs designated to it by the Tennessee State Constitution.
I believe taxes should only be collected to support said limited responsibilities as outlined by the state constitution.
IMMIGRATION
As a retired federal agent who assisted in immigration enforcement activities, I support efforts to enforce our nation’s immigration laws. While I understand the human side of the issue, it is also important that we secure our borders and uphold our nation’s laws.
DEFEND THE GUARD
As a US Navy and Tennessee Air National Guard Veteran, I fully support Defend the Guard legislation. Unless a war that requires our Guard members is declared by congress, as per the US Constitution, they should be home doing what they signed up for: protecting their communities during times of natural disaster and civil unrest.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILTY
As a conservative, I am committed to fiscal responsibility by our government and will ensure any votes I make reflect that belief. The willfulness of the establishment to expand the budget exponentially here in TN is anti-republican and anti-conservative. I fully support an extensive audit of state programs and eliminating wasteful spending in TN.
