Who is Will Bolton?
I am just a small-town guy originally from Hernando, Mississippi, located approximately 25 minutes south of Memphis. Although I encountered challenges early in life, through perseverance, a strong work ethic, and faith in God I was able to achieve my career goals. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Leigh, for 33 years. Together, we have raised and homeschooled our six children and we have been blessed with five grandchildren.
Professional Background:
I served in the U.S. Navy, as well as the Tennessee Air National Guard and subsequently law enforcement culminating in a 20-year career as a federal agent with the US Secret Service, ICE, and CBP/Office of Internal Affairs until retiring from DHS in 2021 and moving to McMinn County.
Community Involvement:
I serve as a substitute teacher with McMinn County Schools, a tutor at the Classical Conversations Homeschool Co Op my kids attend and serve as a part time American Government teacher at a local private school. Clearly “service” is a major theme here, I believe all representatives should have this as a forefront in their list of traits.
Faith and Values:
I am a committed Christian who is devoted to my family and guided by a heart for service. My principles were deeply shaped by my grandmother—Mamaw—who raised me and taught me the importance of faith, hard work, and integrity.
Why Support Will Bolton?
I have a strong background in public service and a genuine commitment to serving others. As a candidate for the Tennessee House of Representatives, I’m focused on confronting the real issues facing our communities and promoting practical, conservative solutions that will move ALL of District 23 forward.
